Location. The Sundial Beach & Golf Resort sits on a barrier island, Sanibel, off the southwest coast of Florida. Two thirds nature preserve, this beachfront property offers lush vegetation, unspoiled beaches and plenty of sunshine. The resort is located two miles from the Bailey Mathews Shell Museum and less than three miles from Darling National Wildlife. On site, the Environmental Coastal Observatory Center offers a 450 gallon tank, endangered species exhibit and massive aquarium.
Hotel Features. Multiple dining options include Windows on the Water, featuring Gulf shore cuisine paired with dramatic ocean views. Hibachi style Japanese fare awaits at Noopie's, while cocktails are mixed at the Beaches Bar & Grill. The all suite Sundial Beach & Golf Resort provides a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby and conference facilities. High speed Internet access is available for a fee. A fitness center is on site. The resort offers 23 miles of paved scenic paths available for biking of walking.
Guestrooms. The Sundial Beach & Golf Resort boasts 270 condominiums and villas, all containing kitchens, living areas and large bedrooms. Kitchens provide coffeemakers, microwave ovens and refrigerators. Select suites feature washers and dryers. Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. The Sundial Beach & Golf Resort's Explorer Kid's Club Camp offers fun filled activities for children ages four to eleven. The camp includes lunch, crafts, beach games, pool games and a special gift.
